The Inn was built in 1861 and houses a restaurant
with 4 DINING
ROOMS and Bayside Bar on the first floor,
and 5 GUEST
ROOMS on the second
floor. We are within walking distance
of Cape Cod Bay, where you can
enjoy swimming, sailing, windsurfing
and fishing...or a leisurely stroll
on the
"flats"... the beach at low tide,
displaying many watery treasures and subtle
colorations of sand, sea and sky.
There are several lovely fresh water ponds in Nickerson State Park in Brewster as well. The inn sits in the heart of the historic village with antique shops, galleries, summer theatre, restaurants, golf courses, art and nature museums and charter fishing close by. The Cape Cod Rail Trail, a multi-town biking and jogging path is just down the road with a number of bike rental shops adjacent. Just a short drive by car or public bus service is the Cape Cod National Seashore with wonderful sandy dunes and the rolling waves of the Atlantic Ocean.
Behind
the inn there is an enclosed courtyard
where, weather permitting, guests are
served breakfast at umbrella tables in
the summer and fall. Bramble Inn has also
been the site of a large variety of functions
such as weddings, showers, christenings,
birthdays and corporate functions. It
lends itself nicely to tenting and, with
sides and a heater, can be used in spring
and fall as well as in the milder summer
months.
